Description

D-Link DWC-1000 – a unified wireless LAN controller that centrally manages D-Link access points across one site or a cluster. A single unit manages up to 24 APs (rev. A1/B1) or up to 66 (rev. C1) with a licence upgrade, and clusters scale to 96 or 264 APs. It provides four gigabit Ethernet ports, two gigabit option ports (the second enabled by the VPN/router/firewall licence), a gigabit console port and two USB 2.0 ports. Captive-portal authentication (512-1024 concurrent users), 70 IPSec / 25 PPTP-L2TP / 20 SSL VPN tunnels, RF management and roaming round it out in a 1U chassis.
