Description

Ubiquiti Ethernet Surge Protector (ETH-SP-G2) – an in-line surge protector that shields networking gear from ESD and electromagnetic surges induced on outdoor Ethernet runs. It sits between two RJ-45 connections, protecting data lines up to 2.5 Gbps with PoE pass-through, absorbing transient currents with a 90 V DC spark-over and 10 kA+ discharge capacity. The IPX5 weatherproof polycarbonate housing is rated for -30 to 65 °C, making it ideal at both ends of an outdoor link to a PoE camera, access point or bridge.
